Prices & Conditions
In the Haus am Watt you have the choice between individually furnished, spacious apartments and double rooms with bathrooms (shower, toilet, hair dryer). The apartments all have two double bedrooms. Facilities include towels and bed linen for the booked number of people; Room service (every other day) is included in the price.
In spring, summer and autumn, we usually rent out weekly or parallel to the seminars taking place with us with 6 or 7 nights to individual guests - on a daily basis and on weekends only at very short notice on request. The overnight prices given are per adult including vegetarian/vegan organic half-board with a rich breakfast and dinner (starter, main course and dessert).
Double room
115 - 135 euros per person including vegetarian/vegan organic half-board
Apartment
from 125 euros per person including vegetarian/vegan organic half-board, depending on occupancy
Double as a single
145-180 euros per person including vegetarian/vegan organic half-board
Children prices
- children under the age of one live and eat for free in the Haus am Watt
- children 1-3 years = 25% of the travel price in their parents' room
- children 4-14 years = 50% of the travel price
- minimum occupancy apartment = 2 adults, 1 child 4-14 years (in terms of price)
Vegetarian and vegan organic meals
In our kitchen we use ingredients from certified organic, predominantly regional cultivation. Our vegetarian and vegan half-board consists of a rich breakfast and a three-course dinner. In addition, we offer (except during the fasting weeks) coffee specialties and delicious home-baked cakes for our house guests on our daily menu. The Haus am Watt is an organic pension certified by the organic control agency ABCERT (DE-ÖKO-006).
Dogs
Dogs are allowed as long as they are friendly with people and other animals. The cost is 10 euros per day.
Parking spaces
You can park for free directly at Haus am Watt.
Wireless Internet Access
In some rooms/apartments as well as in the lounges, WiFi is available free of charge. If you value WiFi in your room/apartment, please let us know when booking.
Sauna & massages
For relaxation, our guests can use a rustic barrel sauna with a wood-burning stove right next to the pond, which can be fired up yourself with the wood provided. Depending on availability, Ayurvedic massages can be booked directly with Dagmar Dührsen, who also teaches her seminars with us.
Booking Process & Payment
After the booking has been accepted, you will receive a reservation confirmation and a deposit of 20% of the travel price is due to accept the booking. Please pay the remainder of the travel price up to two weeks before arrival. Any consumption costs for drinks can be paid in cash or with an EC card.
We recommend you get travel cancellation insurance.
Cycles
The rent is 30 euros per bike & week or 8 euros per day, children's bikes of various inch sizes are also available. E-bikes are available on request for 20 euros per day or 100 euros per week. The fee for child bike seats is 5 euros per week and for bike trailers 15 euros per week. The bikes are available directly from Haus am Watt.
Taxi pick-up service from Wesselburen train station
Please let us know your arrival time by noon on the last working day before your arrival and we will order a taxi for you to Wesselburen train station. The cost is around 18-20 euros per trip, if several guests arrive at the same time you can share taxi & costs. If there are delays on the day of arrival, please contact Taxi Thiessen directly on 04833-8346. The train station is 7 kilometers from Haus am Watt, the journey time is around 10 minutes.
Rental Car
If you need a rental car, the nearest providers are Avis and Sixt in Heide.
Arrival Departure
Arrival at Haus am Watt is between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (later by arrangement) and departure after breakfast by 10.30 a.m.
Lost Property
We keep all lost and found items in a box - if something has been forgotten, you will receive it the next time you visit the Haus am Watt. Please make sure to pack charging cables and plugs in particular when you leave. For a service fee of 15 euros (including postage) we will send forgotten items to your address and ask for your patience while processing.
Watt hikes & Ornithology
If not included in the travel program in advance, we will be happy to organize a mudflat hike or an ornithological excursion with the NaBu on site. Watt hikes are easy to do barefoot, in colder temperatures you can use our selection of rubber boots in different sizes.
